Obed is a practice. If it comes in form of performance then it is practice also for spectators. If it comes in form of an event, then it is practice for participants as well. If it comes in form of a meeting then it is a practice of a meeting for all involved.
The publicly announced session of Obed 14th July at festival Hotel Limbo at Laboratorio dell'Imperfetto took its own way immediately it started. Again :-) And that is something we want to happen.
We organize the environment, the conditions, in order for us to indulge into working with what is there already and where it is taking us. Whenever one says in performing „it“ took me somewhere, this „it“ is co-created by each individual (starting with performer and going all the way to observer) by creating conditions where this „it“ then appears, happens, takes over.
WE - me, gregor and marjeta- (and later on I will go back to the WE) are in imperfetto lab in gambettola. marjeta and gregor are working on M (two versions, a performance and installation i forgot which versions :)
Me and tehvan are working on obed, a long-term collaborative practice oriented project, that is shaping and changing its forms as we are changing. we have to work more on production and realization of the restaurant version, gregor!
